Some Success Stories:

"I can now keep my pet. I was worried, with so many behavior problems, we would have to give him away. Now I can keep the pet I love because of your help, support and professional training."

"I now have a place where my pet is happy, healthy and safe, when I have to be away from home. I can go on vacation and not worry about my pet in the hands of APA.
Thank you so much."

Armenta Pet Academy is Proud to Support the DAWG Walk

The Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) is committed to providing medical care and comfort to sick and injured animals that come into the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center. Each year, through fundraising events like the Annual DAWG Walk, they provide hundreds of animals with a second chance to find loving homes.

The 14th Annual DAWG Walk begins on June 28 with registration at 7:00 am on the fields at the Thomas R. Potocki Conference Center, located at 23701 La Paz Road in Mission Viejo. The Walk starts at 8:30 am along the Oso Creek Trail. You may register in advance at www.dawg.org, or mail in your registration form by Wednesday, June 25. Event brochures including mail-in registration forms are available online as well at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest.

All walkers receive a DAWG Walk T-shirt and for every $10 collected in pledge dollars, walkers receive an entry into the raffle prize giveaway with over 20 prize packages. The dog walker who collects the most individual pledge dollars wins the $500 Grand Prize.

The Pet Faire & Adoption Event is open from 8:00 am until noon on the World Cup fields at the beautiful Thomas R. Potocki Conference Center. The Pet Faire is free and open to everyone and their dogs, of course! Free parking is available at Newhart Middle School on the corner of La Paz Road and Veterans Way. Free refreshments are served and lots of water is available for the dogs. Pet Faire features over 45 booths with a wide variety of unique services and products for you and your pet. You’ll also meet amazing wildlife creatures such as giant lizards, snakes, birds of prey and opossums to learn about them up close and personal!

Consider entering your pooch in the pet contests—The Best K9 Kisser, the Owner/Bowzer Look-Alike Contest or the Best K9 Trickster Contest and win fun prizes! And for $10 per entry, you could win a raffle prize valued at $40 or more. The Pet Faire also includes exciting performances by the Disc Dogs and the Orange Crush Flyball Club dogs that always amaze and entertain the crowds with their athletic talent and showmanship.

“One of Mission Viejo’s most popular
summer events benefits our local Animal
Services Center and is an opportunity to
add a new addition to your family.”

The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center as well as many animal rescue groups will be there with dozens of breeds, shapes, ages and sizes of pets that are available for adoption. You just might find a new addition for your family waiting for you at the Faire!
